Reviews and Ratings
I found the hotel to be a mixed bag. While the rooms were a bit outdated and could use some sprucing up, they did have a coffee maker, dressing gown, and slippers. Despite paying more than others we spoke to, the tired appearance was a downside. The service was friendly but inconsistent, with some staff being more helpful than others. The location, though convenient for touring Scotland, didn't live up to its potential with a river running under the floor. The dining experience left much to be desired, with a pricey, uninspiring breakfast. However, the hotel had some nice facilities to offer.
The hotel's location is perfect, right in the city center of Perth with onsite parking, but it might feel a bit dodgy. The rooms need a revamp, especially the bathroom, and the loud squeaky floorboards were a bit bothersome. The service was mixed as the housemaids were excellent, but some staff appeared uninterested and had billing issues. The dining experience was average, with the hotel fare being typical but not quickly replenished. Overall, the property is easy to find, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is excellent despite having to make your tea and coffee.
The hotel's rooms, though small, were adequate but in need of updating. The service, especially by Chloe and Karen, was pleasant but lacked training for the high prices. The location in the city center was excellent for exploring nearby attractions. The dining experience was mixed, with some good meals but occasional shortcomings. Overall, a decent stay but with room for improvement.
My stay at the hotel was worth the money we paid. The rooms met our expectations, although they were small but adequate. Initially, they were cold until I turned on the heating.
My room at the hotel was not up to par as it lacked a hairdryer, and the cleaning was subpar, with housekeeping running out of towels. The service, however, was friendly and helpful despite some lapses in customer focus. The location was excellent, right in the centre of Perth, although there were loud disturbances outside. The dining experience had its drawbacks with reduced portion sizes and delays, yet the food was still well-cooked. The facilities were decent overall.
The hotel is in a convenient location near shops and good restaurants, though it could use some refurbishments. The room was a bit delayed for check-in, but the service was exceptional, especially for special occasions like birthdays. The dining experience was average, and the hotel facilities were decent.
